- Your contract and all payments are directly with the contractor.
The pro we introduce
We haven't named a pro for San Diego yet. When we match you, we tell you the pro's legal name and their Contractors State License Board (CSLB) license or registration number before they contact you, so you can check them yourself.

Where to complain about a contractor
The CSLB (cslb.ca.gov) or the California Attorney General's consumer complaint unit
Home-improvement contracts
Before work starts, ask the pro for a written contract with the price, scope, start and finish dates, and any right you have to cancel. California home-improvement contracts must be in writing with the state-required notices and a 3-business-day right to cancel for most home-improvement contracts (B&P §7159; the pro's duty; ESTIMATE).
